Clark Girls Softball League - Registration October 19th and 20th

The Clark Girls Softball League (CGSB) will hold their registration for the 2012 season on October 19, 2011 and 20, 2011 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at the Brewer Recreational Center (Clark Municipal Building), 430 Westfield Avenue.

The league is open to all girls in grades K-8, who reside in Clark, Garwood and Winfield, or who attend private school in Clark Township.   The 2012 season is slated to begin in mid-March and runs to early June.

CGSB president Bill Smith cites the 2011 season as one of the league’s most successful, with over 300 girls participating on 28 teams.  “Last season we saw a growth in all areas of the association, not only on the field, but in the stands too.  It’s such a great feeling seeing the bleachers filled with cheering parents and fans, alike,” he said.

Smith continued, “And we are looking forward to building on the success of the 2011 season by increasing the number of teams in each division, especially the instructional division (grades K-1).  Last season, we had four teams and are looking to boost that number to at least six teams.”

Registration forms can be obtained from the CGSB website – www.eteamz.com/CGSB.  For any questions regarding the registration process or if you are a business interested in sponsoring a team or wanting a billboard display, contact William Smith at William.F.Smith@verizon.net.  All are welcome.
