Girl Scouts USA Centennial Celebration & Reunion

On Saturday, June 30, 2012 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. the Rahway Girl Scouts will host a “Girl Scouts USA Centennial Celebration & Reunion” honoring the national organization’s 100th anniversary.  The celebration will take place at the historic Merchants and Drovers Tavern Museum widely known as “The Girl Scout House”, located at 1632 St.
Georges Avenue, Rahway.  The festivities will include 100 fun activities including a Bridging Ceremony, scavenger hunt, time capsule burial, and more.  

There will also be the opportunity for attendees to win raffle prizes, earn a special centennial badge and taste samples of Girl Scout Cookies baked using the original “Early Girl Scout Cookie® Recipe” created in1922.  The Girl Scouts USA Centennial Celebration & Reunion is free to attend and open to all current and alumnae Girl Scouts and Troop Leaders, as well as their families, and people interested in joining the organization.
