
Over a span five days as the summer of 2011 comes to an end, The Union County Fair featuring MusicFest will bring together the community for a free event consisting of non-stop musical entertainment and fun for the entire family.
Now in its 14th year, MusicFest will once again include three stages which will host an exciting line-up of popular national and local musical acts.

Wednesday live music will feature local bands and performers including Cranford Guitar and Music students, Doomsday Diaries, Nikki Briar and b.Funk on Garwood's The Crossroads stage.
Thursday's lineup will bring the RMC All Stars, The Flies, Mikey B and The Wandering Bards to The Crossroads stage.

Friday performers include The Skins, Satellite Hearts, Dirty Bird, Chelsea Kills and Ed Kowalczyk and headliner Collective Soul.
Music entertainment kicks off early on Saturday, starting with Garden State Line and Traveling Stereo on The Crossroads stage at 11 a.m. Also on the Crossroad stage through the day will be Running Late, The Embracers and Chocolate Bread. School of Rock All Stars, Cy Cernin (of the Fixx), local sensation Nicole Atkins, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Paul Rodgers and Neon Trees will be the lead up to the weekend's headline sensation, Blondie at 8:45 p.m.
On Sunday, live bands begin at noon with Outside the Box, EMA, School of Rock All Stars' Springsteen Tribute, A Clean Getaway, The Mungers, and Hammond as a lead-up to The Smithereens at 3:45 p.m. and headliner Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes at 6 p.m.
In addition to the carnival rides, food vendors, and interactive educational awareness programs, each day will feature new activities and events.

HIGHLIGHTS:
- Free nonstop musical entertainment featuring popular national acts and rising local talent.
- The fifth annual Love Hope Strength Rock On! Walkathon and 5k Rockin’ Run. Proceeds will benefit Union County Love Hope Strength and other New Jersey-based cancer charities.
- The Kids Kingdom Traveling Jubilee, featuring a wide variety of children’s amusements, live entertainment, pony rides, a petting zoo, and much more.
