Food, Games, Fun: Garwood Baseball Season Kicks Off at Unami Park on Saturday

This release was provided by the Garwood Baseball League.

Opening Day is set for Saturday, April 6th

• The Coaches and kids will arrive in uniform at Washington School @ 8:30, and begin to walk to Unami Park at 9:00.
• Once we arrive at the field, we will line the teams up and announce them.  During the opening day speech, we have a few special announcements and first pitches to do, then we’ll be ready to “Play Ball”

We have a few special items on this day as well.   

• The Somerset Patriots Mascot will join us for our parade walk and pictures
• We will have lunch courtesy of Benvenuti’s of Garwood
• We will have the Game Truck present for “Sports Gaming Day” from 10:30 to 12:30
• Each person in attendance will receive a Garwood Baseball Opening Day Sponge Ball.
