Four Shoplifted $466 Worth Of Items From Marshall's: Police

Clark Police Blotter includes multiple arrests last week.

Clark, NJ -- Four people were arrested for shoplifting more than $450 worth of merchandise from Marshall's, Clark Police report.

Terry Baldwin, age 48, single, a forklift operator of 568 Maple Avenue, 2nd Floor in Rahway, Lawrence Traylor, age 61, single, unemployed of 336 East 41st Street in Paterson, Laran Pone, age 43, married, a factory worker of 14 Van Houten Street, Apt. #213 in Paterson, and Sharandan McCrae, age 40, marital status unknown, employment status unknown of 503 East 18 th Street, 1 st Floor in Paterson were all arrested on June 1 at 5:32 p.m.

The four allegedly shoplifted merchandise valued at $466.90 from the Marshall’s Department Store at 45 Central Avenue, according to the police blotter.

Traylor was also charged with possession of burglary tools and detained on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $5,000 from Pompton Lakes for contempt of court.

He was subsequently turned over to the Pompton Lakes Police Department. Baldwin, Pone and McCrae were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates.

On May 31 at 10:55 p.m.: In the vicinity of Oak Ridge Road, police arrested Cornel Mends Cole, age 50, single, unemployed of 24 Emma Street in Plainfield on an outstanding no bail warrant for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department. P.O. Omer Olmeda was the Arresting Officer.

On June 2 at 2:59 p.m.: At 271 Valley Road, police arrested Dillon Mason, age 24, single, a mechanic of 763 East 52nd Street in Brooklyn, New York for unlawful use of credit cards. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Det. Alex Yanes was the Arresting Officer.

On June 2 at 4:09 p.m.: At the Union County Jail, police arrested Bilal Cureton, age 26, single, unemployed, of 79-83 Tillinghast Street in Newark for burglary. Bail was set at $90,000, and he remained housed at the Union County Jail pending a court date. Det. Alex Yanes was the Arresting Officer.

On June 3 at 1:01 p.m.: In the vicinity of Rose Terrace and Durham Drive, police arrested Thomas Connors, age 40, married, a salesman of 2989 Hamilton Blvd., #402 in South Plainfield and Gerry Connors, age, 19, single, a salesman of 2989 Hamilton Blvd., #402 in South Plainfield for hindering apprehension and obstruction. Both men were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. P.O. Michael Somma was the Arresting Officer.
