GARWOOD, NJ — The Garwood Girl Scout Troop 41108 is hosting virtual cookie booths to raise money which will be used to give back to the community.
During 2020, the Troop was able to donate cookies to Frontline workers, masks, hand sanitizer, and gloves to nurses at RWJ Rahway, donated more than 18 Christmas boxes to Samaritan's Purse and provided a variety of snacks to the Salvation Army in South Plainfield.
In Garwood, the troop planted flowers around town, helped to decorate town hall for the Fall, donated a bench to Hartman Park.

The girls were able to do this with money raised from selling cookies, especially from cookie booth sales. With COVID, the girls are unable to have in-person cookie booths this year. However, the troop will be hosting virtual cookie booths.
When the weather breaks, the troop hopes to have a small socially distanced cookie booth at Unami Park, details will be shared later.
