Garwood Library, Borough Team Up For 4 Pride Month Events In June

From cookie decorating to a documentary screening to story time with a local author, Garwood has Pride Month events planned every week.

GARWOOD, NJ - The Borough of Garwood and the Garwood Public Library are teaming up for a series of four Pride Month events throughout June, with something planned nearly every week.

The lineup kicks off Thursday, June 5, with a Pride Cookie Decorating event at the library at 3 p.m. Registration is required.

On Tuesday, June 9, the library will host an adults-only screening of the documentary "Will and Harper" at 7 p.m.

The third event, Chalk the Walk with Pride, invites participants to decorate the sidewalks around the library on Tuesday, June 16, at 3:30 p.m.

The series wraps up Saturday, June 27, at 11 a.m. with a story time featuring Garwood author Robb Pearlman.
