Garwood Police are Perfectly Capable

I want to thank mayoral candidate Jen Blumenstock for writing an article on the Patch because similar to a college essay, it gives the reader a window into the way the writer thinks, behaves and reacts.

Blumenstock writes:

“So when I became aware of a few properties in Garwood that were listed, and then subsequently occupied through short-term rental sites like AirBnB and VRBO, I knew that this was an issue that needed to be investigated and addressed before the practice became pervasive.”

I am confused.

Mayoral Candidate Jen Blumenstock talks about how she needed to investigate. Isn’t it the job of the Garwood Police to investigate? Why would someone who is running for Mayor be investigating something that was a NON-ISSUE?

Something smells fishy here…
