Garwood Schools To Close For 2 Weeks Over Coronavirus Concerns
All Garwood Schools will close for at least two weeks and implement a home instructional plan due to new coronavirus concerns.
GARWOOD, NJ — All Garwood Schools will close for at least two weeks and implement a home instructional plan due to new coronavirus concerns, school officials announced Friday.
Staff will have an in-service day at school on Monday to continue planning for on-line learning. The home instructional plan for students will begin on Tuesday. On Friday, students will bring home books needed to learn at home.
"Thank you for your patience, cooperation and understanding as we navigate these uncharted
waters! As always, the safety and security of our students is our number one priority!" said Garwood Superintendent Dr. Teresa Quigley.

Clark Schools have not made any closure announcements as of 3 p.m. Friday.
