Garwood Woman Arrested For Drug Possession: Police

Five people were arrested on possession of drug charges last week in Clark including a Garwood woman, police reported.

CLARK, NJ — Five people were arrested on possession of drug charges last week in Clark including a Garwood woman, police reported.

Clark Police Blotter:

On Sept. 6 at 12:46 p.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Michael DeJohn, 32, of South River for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) paraphernalia. He was also detained on outstanding warrants, totaling $750, from Piscataway and Cranford for contempt of court. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court date on the Clark charges and subsequently transported to the Cranford Police Department. Capt. Vincent Concina was the arresting officer.

On Sept. 7 at 11:32 p.m.: In the vicinity of Madison Hill Road, police arrested Shakeerah White, 29, of Rahway for possession of CDS. She was also detained on outstanding warrants, totaling $1,950, from Clark, East Orange, Newark and Rahway for contempt of court. She was released on her own recognizance on the Clark charges pending a court date after posting bail on the outstanding warrants. Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.

On Sept. 9 at 1:06 a.m.: In the vicinity of 45 Central Avenue, police arrested Anthony Aguilar, 23, of Plainfield for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.

On Sept. 9 at 10:40 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant and Westfield Avenues, police arrested Jenna Staines, 19, of Garwood for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.

On Sept. 10 at 11:06 p.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound connector, police arrested Jean Jarda, 24, of Rahway for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.
