This is my second year running for the Board of Ed. Having recently retired I have the time and the desire to serve my community. As a Garwood resident I want a strong school system that will provide a high quality education for our children while being fiscally sound. My experience in education gives me an understanding of the functioning of the board and the needs of a school. I possess insight that can also be useful to the other trustees.

What issues would you like to see addressed if elected?

The biggest issues facing the board and the schools stems from the conversion of industrial properties to residential use. The board needs to be prepared for an influx of students that will stress space and financial resources.
