ELIZABETH, NJ — Wednesday marks the one-year anniversary of the shooting that left two Union County women dead in an Elizabeth park on Halloween night. Investigators are re-releasing video and photos in an effort to get the public's help to try and solve this crime.

The video surveillance footage (shown below) and still imagery shows a vehicle wanted in connection with the deaths of Rah-Zhane Lee, 22, of East 4th Avenue in Roselle and Shaniquah Richardson, 24, of Franklin Street in Elizabeth, acting Union County Prosecutor Michael A. Monahan announced Wednesday.

Elizabeth Police responded shortly after midnight on Nov. 1, 2017 to a report of shots fired in the area of 2nd and Court streets in the city's Elizabethport section where they found Lee and Richardson with gunshot injuries.

"Investigators are asking residents of the area, or anyone who may have been in the area at the time, to think back to that night and recall whether they may have seen the vehicle – or anything else otherwise suspicious," Monahan said.
