Here's How Many Bullying Cases Were Reported In Clark, Garwood

CLARK/GARWOOD, NJ — The Clark School District reported a total of 8 harassment, intimidation and bullying cases this past year while Garwood reported 1, according to numbers recently released by the state.

Clark ranked at having the 244th highest number of cases, according to state data released for 2017-18. It averaged 3.53 cases per 1,000 students, which was 376th highest out of 550 school districts in the state.

Garwood ranked at having the 541th highest number of cases, according to state data released for 2017-18. It averaged 2.65 cases per 1,000 students, which was 437th highest out of 550 school districts in the state.

Kenilworth ranked the highest in number of average cases and Elizabeth ranked the highest in the number of cases for Union County.

Morris-Union Jointure, Mountainside Borough and Winfield Township School Districts all did not have any reported cases.

The state Department of Education has cautioned that these numbers are reported by each district, so each jurisdiction is responsible for reporting its results fairly and accurately.
