Home, Car Burglarized In Same Day In Clark

Clark Police also reported making arrests for shoplifting, drugs and outstanding warrants recently.

CLARK, NJ — A home and a car were both reportedly burglarized in the same day recently in the township.

Both burglaries were reported on Friday, May 10 early in the morning.

The first was a burglary to a residence on Union County Parkway.

The second burglary was reportedly to an unsecured motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on Union County Parkway.

Both incidents are under investigation. Police Officer Omer Olmeda was the investigating officer in both cases.

Other Clark Police blotter items:

On May 6 at 7:25 p.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Joye Rosario, 23, of New York, New York for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS), intent to distribute, intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of school property, intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public library and hindering apprehension. He was also detained on several outstanding warrants totaling $5,401 from Cranford, Elizabeth, Linden, New Brunswick, Rahway, Secaucus, Tinton Falls and Woodbridge for contempt of court. He was subsequently remanded to the Union County Jail. Also arrested was Towon Polk, 22, of Roselle on outstanding warrants totaling $3,050 from Cranford, Orange, Roselle and Roselle Park for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Roselle Police Department. Police Officer Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.

On May 8 at 1:32 p.m.: Police arrested Juan Adames, 23, of Clifton for shoplifting merchandise valued at $705.15 from the Target Department Store at 45 Central Ave. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Christopher Tuccio was the
arresting officer.
