The incident occurred on Wednesday morning around 11:40 a.m. when a red Honda Odyssey coming off the Garden State Parkway northbound exit caused a major accident at the traffic light at the bottom of the ramp, Matos said.
The Honda then rolled over several times and Miller, who was driving the car, was ejected and suffered a leg injury, Matos said.
Miller reportedly suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Sanchez and Ames, who were also inside the Honda, fled the scene on foot towards Mother Seton High school. The high school was immediately placed on lock down, Matos said.
Clark Police officers were able to capture both men. All three people in the Honda were taken to University Hospital in Newark.
