CLARK/GARWOOD, NJ — As more and more New Jersey towns now rank high on New Jersey's coronavirus case and fatality list. See how Clark and Garwood compare:
Since the pandemic began Clark has reported a total of 267 coronavirus cases and 24 deaths. Garwood has reported 46 cases and 2 deaths
Clark has not reported any new deaths since May 4 while Garwood has had no new deaths since at least July 4.

Comparing Clark and Garwood to the rest of the Garden State, Patch put together lists showing all the towns and their latest reported number of coronavirus cases and fatalities now that the outbreak is in its sixth month, ranking them based on population. Clark saw a 16.59 percent increase in cases from July 4 through Aug. 23, which ranked at 232 out of all the towns in the state. Garwood saw a 6.98 percent increase in cases from July 4 through Aug. 23, which ranked at 391 out of all the towns in the state

Clark saw 17.10 cases per 1,000 people in the same timeframe, which ranked at 196 in the state. Garwood saw 10.61 cases per 1,000 people in the same timeframe, which ranked at 372 in the state.

Union County has a total of 17,052 cases and 1,184 deaths as of Friday, according to the state.
