Linden Meat Market Catches Fire Causes Road Closure
One worker suffered minor burns and was treated on scene by Linden Fire Department personnel, police report.

LINDEN, NJ — A chimney fire sparked at the Pulaski Meat Market on North Wood Avenue in Linden Monday morning.
The fire was reported at 10:45 a.m. at 123 N. Wood Ave. where one worker suffered minor burns and was treated on scene by Linden Fire Department personnel, Linden Police said.
North Wood Avenue was closed as a result between Elizabeth Avenue and Blanket Street due to the fire condition, Linden Police announced at 11:11 a.m.

W. Price St. was also closed from Lumber St. to Wood Ave.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area for the next one to two hours.
