Local First Responders Show Off Bagging Skills For Good Cause

Local police fire and EMS workers volunteered at ShopRite in Garwood for the "Help Bag Hunger Day"​ on Sept. 16.

GARWOOD, NJ — Area first responders joined with Shoprite on North Avenue in Garwood for the "Help Bag Hunger Day" on Sept. 16.

To raise awareness, local police fire and EMS workers volunteered their bagging skills and encouraged shoppers to round up their purchase with proceeds going to local food banks.
