Man Arrested For Burglarizing 6 Clark Cars In 1 Day
Jonathan A. Joseph, 24, of Newark was arrested in connection with a rash of vehicle burglaries that occurred on Sept. 4 in Clark.

CLARK, NJ — A Newark man was arrested by Clark Police in connection with a rash of vehicle burglaries that included six vehicles in one day.
Jonathan A. Joseph, 24, of Springfield Avenue in Newark was charged with eight counts of burglary to a motor vehicle and six counts of theft for a rash of vehicle burglaries that occurred on the early morning hours of Sept. 4, Clark Police report.
All of the incidents were reported just after midnight through around 6:30 p.m. Some of the vehicles were reportedly unlocked, Clark Police previously reported. (See Related: 6 Cars Burglaries In 1 Day, Suspect Wanted In Clark)

The cars burglarized were reported parked at homes on Skyline Drive, Jupitor Street, Meissner Way, Madison Hill Road, Sandalwood Drive, and Victoria Drive.
A surveillance video was released by police on Sept. 12 in connection with the burglaries. The person in the video reportedly entered unlocked vehicles in the area of Jupiter St. and Skyline Dr. on Sept. 4. (See video below)

Joseph is currently residing at the Essex county jail.
"We ask that you please lock your vehicles at all times especially during the over night hours.We ask that you also lock your doors as there have been incidents in other towns where the homes have been entered during the over night hours in order to retrieve the keys for the vehicles in the driveway," Clark Police stated.
