Man Found Hiding In Dumpster Arrested For Union County Burglary
A Rahway man ran from police after he allegedly burglarized an apartment building in Linden. He was found hiding in a dumpster: Police.

LINDEN, NJ — A Union County man was arrested Monday after he burglarized a local apartment building, Linden Police report.
Charles Flowers, 53, of Rahway is charged with burglary, hindering and obstruction after he ran away from officers.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m. a burglary was reported at an apartment building on the 1100 block of W. St. George Avenue.

Flowers reportedly ran away when confronted by Linden Police Officers. He was found hiding in a nearby dumpster a short while later, police report.
“Home is a place of safety and comfort,” said Linden Police Chief Jonathan Parham. “Removing those who
undermine that security remains a top priority of this department.”

Flowers was charged with third-degree attempted burglary, fourth-degree obstruction and fourth-degree
hindering. He was remanded to the Union County Jail pending an appearance in Union County Superior Court.
This incident, along with a number of similar crimes in the area, remains under investigation. Anyone with
