Man Who Stole Car With Baby Inside, Still At Large: Elizabeth PD
"The woman was not assaulted and no contact was made. The man is still on the loose," Elizabeth Spokeswoman Kelly Martins said.
ELIZABETH, NJ — Authorities are searching for a man who stole a car with a baby inside and then abandoned the car and baby in Elizabeth on Thursday.
The mother got out of her car on North Broad and Newark Avenue to throw garbage away when a man jumped in the car and fled on Oct. 3, Elizabeth Spokeswoman Kelly Martins said.
The vehicle was later found abandoned on North and Stanton with the baby safely inside, Martins said.
