Multicultural Church Brings Hope To Area, Gets a New Home in Union County
Oasis is a 6 year old Contemporary Christian Church in Central NJ for families and singles, with a vision to compassionately reach people
After six years of having to set up and take down in rental facilities at various locations in Union and Middlesex Counties, Oasis Church is finally getting its very own building at its new location at 2 Denman Ave in Clark. On September 10 at 10am, the church warmly welcomes the central New Jersey community to its Grand Opening Kickoff. The church is conveniently located only 30 seconds off the Clark/Westfield/Rahway 135 GSP Exit.
According to Dave Butler, lead pastor at Oasis, “this particular location of Oasis has had to move 4 times in the past 11 months before God blessed us with this amazing permanent home. After being mobile in all of our locations since the start of the church, it’s refreshing to have one place you can call home. We see our new home as a base of operation to spread Jesus’ love, help start other churches and expand our existing kids ministries.”
Butler explained, “The whole goal of our church is to reach folks with God’s truth and love, and to bring them together into His family. In light of Charleston and all the racial divides in our country, I’m so proud that our highly multicultural church is an example of unity and hope for our surrounding communities.
