Multiple Car Burglaries Reported In Clark

Clark Police also report thefts from lockers at L.A. Fitness and an arrest for receiving stolen property.

CLARK, NJ — Clark Police reported multiple car burglaries, theft and an arrest for receiving possession stolen property this week.

Clark Police Blotter:

On July 2 at 11:01 a.m.: Police took multiple reports of burglaries to motor vehicles that were parked at 140 Central Ave. The incidents are under investigation. Police Officer Anthony Salas and Police Officer Alex Yanes were the investigating officers.

On July 2 at 2:47 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a locker at L.A. Fitness at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Ted McKeown was the investigating officer.

On July 5 at 3:13 p.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Crystal Cavaness, 49, of Newark for receiving stolen property and fraud. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Detective Michael Ciaccio was the arresting officer.
