One Car Burglarized, One Car Damaged in Clark
Shoplifting and drug arrests among the reports included in the Clark Police blotter.

Clark, NJ -- One car was burglarized and another was damaged in Clark, police report.
A car parked at 5 Suburban Road was burglarized on May 23 at 4:09 p.m., according to the Clark Police blotter.
Another car parked at 871 Lake Avenue also had a report of criminal mischief on May 30 at 11:12 a.m.

Both incidents are under investigation.

On May 25 at 1:44 a.m.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Michael Romans, age 25, single, a security guard of 44 Maple Avenue in Vaux Hall for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Bruce McDonald was the Arresting Officer.

On May 26 at 11:18 p.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway southbound, police arrested Raianne Lassandro, age 20, single, a restaurant worker of 173 Easy Street in Edisonfor possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia.She was also detained on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1,000 from South Plainfield for contempt of court. She was subsequently released after posting bail on the warrant and pending a court date on the Clark charges. P.O. Matthew Mulroy was the Arresting Officer.
On May 28 at 4:45 p.m.: At 76 Central Avenue, police arrested Scott Currie, age 32, single, unemployed of 607 Lakehurst Road in Browns Mills for shoplifting merchandise valued at $85.56 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue. He was also found to have a fugitive warrant out of Sacramento, California, and he was subsequently turned over to the Union County Sheriff’s Department. P.O. Ricardo Oliveira was the Arresting Officer.
On May 29 at 1:13 a.m.: In the vicinity of Shop-Rite Way, police arrested Salvatore Tortorello, age 27, single, an HVAC technician of 180 West Farms Road in Howell on outstanding warrants from Cranford, Garwood and Howell for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Garwood Police Department. Det. Alex Yanes was the Arresting Officer.
