Revolutionary Poet Annis Boudinot Stockton To Be Portrayed At Clark Library

CLARK, NJ — Clark residents can spend an evening learning about Annis Boudinot Stockton through a performance at the Clark Public Library this week.

“An Evening with Revolutionary Poet Annis Boudinot Stockton” is scheduled for Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the library's Ayers Room.

Alisa Dupuy will portray Stockton, who the library said was “first famous as the wife of a Declaration of Independence signee.”

Stockton later became known as a “prolific, patriotic poet,” according to the library.

The performance is intended for adults and is sponsored by the Friends of the Clark Library.

Registration is required and remains open through 7 p.m. Thursday. Those interested can register through the library's event page.
