Ride To Support Clark PBA Local 125

Clark PBA Local 125's Valor Ride will be held on July 10 rain or shine.

Clark, NJ - Support the Clark PBA Local 125 and ride for a good cause.

A Valor Ride will be held on Sunday, July 10 to honor the fallen lives of Clark Police Officer William Waterson and Marine Cpl. Jason L. Dunham.

Waterson is the only Clark officer to die in the line of duty. He was shot by a suspect during a robbery on July 4, 1971.

Dunham used his body to shield comrades from a grenade explosion in Iraq on April 22, 2004. A scholarship fund has since been made in his honor.

The ride will be held rain or shine and begin and end at Deutscher Club, 787 Featherbed Lane in Clark.

Registration is from 9 a.m. to noon and the ride leaves at noon.

The day will include a continental breakfast, police escorted ride, BBQ, vendors, music and beverages.

Cost is $25 for riders, $15 for passengers and $20 for walk up donations. Proceeds will benefit the Clark PBA Local 125 and Jason Dunham Scholarship Fund.
