See New Coronavirus Totals In Union County

New data is available on vaccinations and case totals in the county.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — In the past week, Union County has seen 240 new confirmed cases, 36 probable new cases, and 1 new fatality, according to the New Jersey Department of Public Health.

The county has seen 60,286 total confirmed cases and 1,829 deaths since March 2020, according to Union County. As of Nov. 27, the county is still designated as having a “high” CALI score, a total that combines the case rate, the case rate, the percentage of people with confirmed "COVID-like illnesses," (CLI), and positivity rate.

As of Friday, 80.55% of the county (445,515 people) has received at least one dose, while 66.52% (367,896), are fully vaccinated, according to a CDC map posted on the Daily Tennessean. The county is offering a free vaccination program for homebound residents currently providing Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
