See Where Clark Schools Rank Among Best In NJ District Rankings

CLARK, NJ — The Clark Township School District was among the top-ranked districts in New Jersey for the 2020-21 school year, according to Niche's 2021 K-12 rankings.

The district was ranked 133rd best in New Jersey and 9th best in Union County.

Each New Jersey district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

Here is a breakdown of Clark Township's scores:

To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)

Clark has 2,299 students in grades PK, K-12 and has a student-teacher ratio of 12 to 1. A total of 51 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 68 percent in reading, according to state test scores reported by Niche.

"It's really important to us that the school fit the child. We have 3 in the district and the teachers and administration are always listening to your concerns. They know you and your kids, great benefit of a small town," said a Clark parent.
