Shoplifting, Drug Arrests Reported in Clark
Five arrests were made last week in Clark for shoplifting, drugs, resisting arrest and outstanding warrant: Police

Clark, NJ -- Two drug arrests and one shoplifting arrest were reported in the Clark Police Blotter.
On May 10 at 4:34 p.m.: In the vicinity of 45 Central Avenue, police arrested Frederick Osmond, age 25, single, a laborer of 551B Oak Street, in South Amboy for shoplifting from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue and possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. Also arrested was Kevin Matysik, age 23, single, a laborer of in 392 Conover Street in South Amboy for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. Both men were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. P.O. Michael Somma and P.O. Sergio D’Andrea were the Arresting Officers.
On May 10 at 11 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Jamar Chavis, age 23, single, unemployed of 48 Dodd Street in Bloomfield on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $900 from Union Township for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Union Township Police Department. P.O. Alex Ruiz was the Arresting Officer.

On May 13 at 8:02 p.m.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Robert Kraynak, age 23, single, a butcher of 9 Ashbrook Drive in Edison for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Ted McKeown was the Arresting Officer.
On May 14 at 11:35 p.m.: At 36 Valley Road, police arrested Bryan Greten, age 26, married, a laborer of 113 North Park West in Keansburg for resisting arrest/eluding. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Lt. Daniel Pitts was the Arresting Officer.
