CLARK, NJ — Clark Police made eight arrests last week for shoplifting, drugs, resisting arrest and more.
Clark Police Blotter:
On May 10 at 10:21 a.m.: In the vicinity of Market Street in Perth Amboy, police arrested Ronald Sasala, 42, of Perth Amboy for shoplifting merchandise, valued at $324.97, from the ShopRite supermarket at 76 Central Ave. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Detective Alex Yanes was the arresting officer.

On May 11 at 2:49 a.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Jamol Jackson, 29, of Newark on outstanding warrants, totaling $700, from East Orange and Newark for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the East Orange Police Department. Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.
On May 11 at 2:23 p.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Shaquan Hinton, 23, of Union on outstanding warrants, totaling $1,300, from Fanwood and Irvington for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Fanwood Police Department. Police Officer Paul Sosnowski was the arresting officer.

On May 12 at 1:07 a.m.: In the vicinity of Lake Avenue, police arrested Quintel Tankard, 32, of Roselle for possession of a controlled dangerous substance. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Sgt. Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.
On May 12 at 10:02 a.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Carlrome Bridges, 22, of Woodbridge for possession of a controlled dangerous substance. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Sergio D’Andrea was the arresting officer.
On May 12 at 12:25 p.m.: In the vicinity of 45 Central Ave., police arrested Patrick Craig, 19, of Sayreville for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Andrew Medeiros was the arresting officer.
On May 12 at 3 p.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Gaelson Senesca, 19, of Bloomfield for hindering apprehension. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Sergio D’Andrea was the arresting officer.
On May 13 at 5:15 a.m.: In the vicinity of 45 Westfield Ave., police arrested Britney Turner, 26, of Newark for resisting arrest and obstruction of justice. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.
