CLARK, NJ — Clark Police report making 6 arrests on charges of drug possession, shoplifting and outstanding warrants last week.
Clark Police Blotter:
On July 31 at 10:57 a.m.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Leopoldo Vazquez, 46, of Rahway for identity theft. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Det. Michael Ciaccio was the arresting officer.

On Aug. 1 at 3:14 p.m.: In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Antron Thomas, 37, of East Orange on an outstanding warrant from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department. He was also charged with hindering apprehension. He was released on the Clark charge pending a court date and subsequently turned over to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department. Det. Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.
On Aug. 1 at 8:48 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Javier Soler, 38, of Keyport on an outstanding no bail warrant from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. He was subsequently turned over to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the arresting officer.

On Aug. 2 at 3:23 p.m.: In the vicinity of 1255 Raritan Road, police arrested Riyad Hassan, 53, of Union City for shoplifting from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Ave. and hindering apprehension. He was
also detained on several outstanding warrants from Cherry Hill and Camden. He was subsequently released on the Clark charges pending a court date. Police Officer Andrew Medeiros was the arresting officer.
On Aug. 4 at 12:04 p.m.: In the vicinity of 1255 Raritan Road, police arrested Rolland Akeyl-Jahi, 23, of Staten Island, New York for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS). He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Mark Detore was the arresting officer.
On Aug. 6 at 12:42 a.m.: In the vicinity of Plymouth Road, police arrested Brian Salters, 33, of Montclair for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Mateusz Pazdan was the arresting officer.
