CLARK, NJ — Clark Police made 15 arrests last week on charges including shoplifting, drug possession and outstanding warrants.
Clark Police Blotter:
On April 17 at 7:12 p.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Eric Fernandez, 32, and Karina Persaud, 31, of Bloomfield for shoplifting. Fernandez was also detained on an outstanding warrant from Woodbridge in the amount of $502. He was released on the Clark charges pending a court date and subsequently transported to the Woodbridge Police Department on their warrant. Persaud was released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Det. Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.

On April 19 at 1:13 p.m.: Police arrested Dewann McCallister, 46, of Toms River for shoplifting merchandise valued at $203.88 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 77 Central Ave. He was also detained on several outstanding warrants for contempt of court from East Brunswick and Toms River. He was released on
the Clark charge pending a court date and subsequently turned over to the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department on their warrants. Police Officer Mark Detore was the arresting officer.
On April 19 at 6:50 p.m.: Police arrested Tamika Kincaid, 36, of Elizabeth and Takeira Scott, 26, of Elizabeth for shoplifting at the Five Below Store at 1255 Raritan Road. Both individuals were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. Police Officer Omer Olmeda was the arresting officer.

On April 20 at 3:45 a.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Iony Bueno, 22, of Summit for hindering apprehension. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the arresting officer.
On April 20 at 11:44 a.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Shania Jones, 27, of Newark for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS). She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Ted McKeown was the arresting officer.
On April 20 at 8:08 p.m.: In the vicinity of Central Avenue, police arrested Ajia Faulkenson, 24, of Morristown for possession of CDS, possession of CDS paraphernalia and failure to turn over CDS to a law enforcement officer. She was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the arresting officer.
On April 21 at 5:07 p.m.: Police arrested Edward Carattini, 36, of Rahway for shoplifting merchandise, valued at $254.32, from the Whole Foods Supermarket at 1255 Raritan Road and hindering apprehension. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Mark Detore was the arresting officer.
On April 21 at 7:59 p.m.: At 55 Valley Road, police arrested Ernest Cross, Jr., 36, of Newark for possession of CDS with intent to distribute. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the arresting officer.
On April 21 at 9:48 p.m.: In the vicinity of Madison Avenue in Rahway, police arrested Cassandra Fleming, 38, of Edison for DUI and possession of CDS. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Paul Sosnowski was the investigating officer.
On April 22 at 5:22 p.m.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Alexander Hayhurst, 23, of Nutley on outstanding warrants from Belleville, Clark and Nutley for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Belleville Police Department. Police Officer Anthony Salas was the investigating officer.
On April 22 at 5:20 p.m.: Police arrested Patricia Karpf, 64, of Linwood for shoplifting merchandise, valued at $61.95, from the Home Goods Store at 1255 Raritan Road. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Mark Detore was the arresting officer.
On April 22 at 10:45 p.m.: In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Anthony Lawrence, 31, of East Orange for possession of CDS. He was also detained on outstanding warrants, totaling $1,350, from Irvington and Newark for contempt of court. He was released on the Clark charges pending a court date and subsequently turned over to the Irvington Police Department on their warrant. Also arrested was Lydasia Blanton, 21, of Newark. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.
