String of Car Burglaries Reported in Clark
Clark Police announce police blotter for Dec. 28 to Jan. 4

Clark, NJ -- Clark Police report a number of car burglaries last week as part of the blotter from Dec. 28 to Jan. 4.
- Dec. 29 at 10:18 p.m.: In the vicinity of 250 Broadway police arrested Marc Muhammad, 53, single, a barber of 45 Coolidge Avenue in Carteret, for possession of a handgun without a permit and possession of CDS. He was also detained on an outstanding no bail warrant from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. After posting bail on the Clark charges, he was released pending a court date and subsequently turned over to the Essex County Sheriff’s Department on their warrant. P.O. Andrew Medeiros was the Arresting Officer.
- Dec. 31 at 8:48 a.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from an unlocked motor vehicle that was parked at 77 Central Avenue. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Sergio D’Andrea was the Investigating Officer.
- Dec. 31 at 7:51 p.m.: At 10 Westfield Avenue police arrested Rudolph Kubiak, Jr., 49, single, a cashier of 33 East Shore Drive in Newton, on an outstanding no bail warrant from the Sussex County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Sussex County Sheriff’s Department. P.O. Andrew Medeiros was the Arresting Officer.
- Jan. 2 at 7:45 a.m.: Police took several reports of burglaries to unlocked motor vehicles that were parked at residences on Deerwood Drive, Limoli Lane, Wheatsheaf Road, Willow Way and Woodland Road. The incidents are under investigation. P.O. Sergio D’Andrea, P.O. Keith Meehan, P.O. Marty Venezio and P.O. Omer Olmeda were the Investigating Officers.
- Jan. 3 at 11:06 p.m.: In the vicinity of Broadway and Schindler Road, police arrested Daniel Pappas, 25, married, a cook of 1472 Jefferson Avenue in Rahway, for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Thomas Gucwa was the Arresting Officer.
