Taste of Garwood 2023 Announced

GARWOOD, NJ — The Borough of Garwood announces the annual “Taste of Garwood” event is returning, running from Friday May 19th, 2023 through Friday, May 26th, 2023. "While Garwood is a small town, we do have a big culinary scene with some of the best restaurants in the area with a great variety of cuisines, from New Orleans Style Cajun to traditional Italian to Mexican," said Garwood Mayor Jen Blumenstock. "I’m thrilled to see this event return through the efforts of our all-volunteer Small Business Advisory Board to help shine a spotlight on the many great restaurants here in Garwood."

"Local business owners are a huge part of the Garwood community, and these restaurants and their staff members need all of our support as the local economy continues to recover," said Councilman Vincent Kearney, liaison to the Small Business Board. "Many residents have spoken with me about ways to support our local businesses, so I hope they will join me in enjoying an awesome meal or three from our local restaurants and other establishments during the Taste of Garwood.”

The Borough will host a promotion on their Facebook and Instagram pages, where residents are encouraged to share a picture of their dine in or take out meals with the hashtag #TasteOfGarwood for a chance to win gift certificates from some of the participating restaurants.
