CLARK, NJ — Clark Police made multiple arrests for theft, drugs and criminal mischief last week in the township, according to the police blotter.

Clark Police Blotter:

On Feb. 12 at 9:30 p.m.: In the vicinity of Lake Avenue, police arrested Andrew Abadia, 21, of Elizabeth for possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS). He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Joshua Weber was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 13 at 11:14 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a patron of L.A. Fitness at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Brandon Pitts was the investigating officer.

On Feb. 14 at 6:57 p.m.: At Headquarters, police arrested Brian Mirabal, 18, of Colonia for theft. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Mark Detore was the arresting officer.

On Feb. 16 at 11:51 p.m.: In the vicinity of Central Avenue, police arrested Melissa Hopf, 41, of Matawan for possession of CDS paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic needle and hindering apprehension. She was also detained on outstanding warrants from Hazlet and Middletown for contempt of court. She was released on the Clark charges pending a court date, and subsequently turned over to the Hazlet Police Department on their warrant. Also arrested was Julie Apfel, 40, of Keansburg for possession of a hypodermic needle. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Paul

On Feb. 19 at 4:26 p.m.: Police took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on Gibson Boulevard. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Mateusz Pazdan was the investigating officer.

On Feb. 19 at 4:34 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle that was parked at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Mazhar Elwardany was the investigating officer.
