CLARK, NJ — Clark Police report making multiple arrests for drug possession, shoplifting and outstanding warrants last week.
Clark Police blotter:
On April 29 at 7:29 p.m.: Police arrested David Manning, 27, of East Orange for shoplifting merchandise valued at $29.98 from the Target Department Store at 45 Central Ave. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Joshua Weber was the arresting officer.

On April 30 at 1030 a.m.: Police arrested Gustavo Fernandez, 63, of Plainfield for shoplifting merchandise valued at $65.86 from the Whole Foods Supermarket at 1255 Raritan Road. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Alex Yanes was the arresting officer.
On April 30 at 4:12 p.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Jihaad Holmes, 24, of Elizabeth for shoplifting merchandise valued at $682 from the Ulta Cosmetics Store at 1255 Raritan Road. He was also charged with use of a juvenile to commit a crime and subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Detective Sgt. Christian Lott was the arresting officer.

On April 30 at 9:49 p.m.: In the vicinity of Madison Avenue in Rahway, police arrested Horlf Legerme, 25, of Irvington for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) and exhibiting a false insurance card. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.
On May 1 at 12:34 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft from a locker at L.A. Fitness at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Ted McKeown was the investigating officer.
On May 2 at 8:32 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft from a locker at 24-Hour Fitness at 140 Central Ave. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Tom Gucwa was the investigating officer.
On May 3 at 9:19 a.m.: In the vicinity of Ross Street, police arrested Aleksand Bokota, 24, of Linden for DUI. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Ted McKeown was the arresting officer.
On May 3 at 4:08 p.m.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Steffie Bartley, 25, of Perrineville on outstanding warrants, totaling $4,750, from Carteret, Clifton, Elizabeth, Linden and Roselle for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Carteret Police Department. Police Officer Paul Sosnowski was the arresting officer.
On May 4 at 1:42 p.m.: In the vicinity of Raritan Road, police arrested Carmerica Torres, 19, of Perth Amboy for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS). Also arrested was Eriks Jimenez, 21, of Perth Amboy for possession of CDS paraphernalia. Both individuals were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. Police Officer Christopher Tuccio was the arresting officer.
