LINDEN, NJ — There will be an increase of enforcement at Linden High School as police investigate a social media threat Thursday morning.

The "threat" made against the high school "appears to be reposted from a similar post in 2017," Linden Police said as of 11 a.m.

As a precaution, extra police officers will be assigned to the school throughout the day.

"The safety and security of students and staff is our top priority, and we are working closely with school administrators to ensure that every appropriate precaution is taken," police said.
