Three Clark residents were arrested on separate accounts on a variety of charges including possession of drugs and a weapon: police

Clark, NJ -- Three Clark residents were arrested last week on separate accounts on a variety of charges including possession of drugs, possession of weapon and having an outstanding warrant, according to the police blotter.

On April 5 at 1:48 p.m.: At 196 Gibson Boulevard, police arrested Jake Mattie, age 24, single, unemployed of 42 Acorn Drive in Clark for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Matthew Mulroy was the Arresting Officer.

On April 6 at 8:10 p.m.: At 683 Madison Hill Road, police arrested Norman Sevell, age 28, single, unemployed of 683 Madison Hill Road in Clark on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. P.O. Tom Gucwa was the Arresting Officer.

On April 7 at 3:56 p.m.: At 62 School Street, police arrested Joseph Catarino, age 59, married, unemployed of 62 School Street for making terroristic threats and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Matthew Mulroy was the Arresting Officer.

On April 4 at 6:14 p.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Michael Calamusa, age 27, single, unemployed of 2263 Oak Pine Court in Leland, North Carolina for shoplifting merchandise valued at $337.93 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue. He was also detained on outstanding warrants from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department, Edison and Woodbridge for contempt of court. He was subsequently released pending a court date on the Clark charges and turned over to the Essex County Sheriff’s Department. P.O. Ted McKeown was the Arresting Officer.

On April 7 at 9:54 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of a cell phone at L.A. Fitness at 1255 Raritan Road. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Bruce McDonald was the Investigating Officer.

On April 8 at 10:50 p.m.: In the vicinity of the GSP northbound exit ramp, police arrested Anthony Reed, age 18, single, a laborer of 244 Salem Road in Union for possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Bruce McDonald was the Arresting Officer.

On April 11 at 12:39 a.m.: In the vicinity of 76 Central Avenue, police arrested Gregory Fullman, age 26, single, an auto worker of 49 Nautilus Drive in Leonardo for possession of CDS and CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Det. Sgt. George Marmarou was the Arresting Officer.
