Union Co. Woman Arrested In Connection With Bank Robbery: Police
The 41-year-old was arrested on suspicion of threatening a bank teller with an imitation gun and demanding money, Linden Police said.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — A 41-year-old woman from Rahway was arrested on suspicion of robbing a local bank on Wednesday morning, according to Linden Police.
Linden Police said the woman approached the counter at Northfield Bank in Linden, told the teller she had a gun and demanded money at around 8:30 a.m. The woman left the bank with approximately $3,800 and was last seen walking south on North Wood Ave., according to police.
No one in the bank was injured during the incident, police said.

Officers later identified Quiana Nobles as the suspect and placed her under arrest.
“This kind of crime will never be acceptable, and we are incredibly proud of the police response in the case” Police Chief David Hart said. “Perhaps more importantly, this case demonstrates how quickly these criminals can be arrested and taken off our streets when witnesses and victims cooperate and provide timely information to police.”

Nobles was charged with first-degree armed robbery and possession of an imitation firearm. She was sent to the County Jail pending a scheduled appearance in superior court.
