Valley Road Students Thank a Marine on Sept. 11
Students wrote letters of appreciation to Staff Sergeant Robert Robertson who joined the Marines after the attacks of 2001.
On Sept. 11 this year, the students in Bryan Lowe’s fifth grade class at Valley Road School in Clark were very excited to thank a hero and focus on heroism instead of tragedy.
They wrote letters of appreciation to Staff Sergeant Robert Robertson who joined the Marines after the attacks of 2001. Robertson has been actively serving for 12 years and has been deployed abroad several times. The fifth graders showed their gratitude by offering kind words and Robertson communicated a heartfelt thanks after receiving the letters.
