22-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot: Police

Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in Camden Sunday afternoon, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said.

Police found 22-year-old Nicholas Rowser, of Camden, on the 1500 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue in Camden while responding to 911 calls for a person shot as well as a ShotSpotter activation around 4 p.m.

He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:11 p.m.
