Krispy Kreme Philly today announced they will be making five awards, valued at $500 each, to five local charities.
“We are asking our community to nominate deserving local charities for this award,” said Keith Morgan, owner of Krispy Kreme Philly. “Krispy Kreme Philly has always been active in giving back to the community and in helping organizations with fundraising. In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr and the Day of Service, we wanted to do a little more.”
Krispy Kreme Philly will make five awards. Each award will consist of $250 in cash and 30 dozen free glazed doughnuts, which can be sold for $9 each. The charities receiving the awards will be determined by Krispy Kreme Philly's executive board, based on the information received during the nomination period. The winners will be announced on Monday, February 6.
