Roads Closing Around Collingswood For 'End Of Summer Celebration'

Labor Day Weekend fireworks, live music, and other festivities are on the schedule.

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — The borough is holding its "End of Summer Celebration" on Saturday at Knights Park with a handful of road closures to account for the festivities.

Knight Park will also be off-limits to drivers in the evening due to fireworks on the grounds.

The End of Summer Celebration runs throughout the day and begins with a farmers market from 8 a.m. to noon.

There will also be a "pool party," food, and live music.

The High School gates will open at 7:30 p.m. to allow for additional viewing areas of the fireworks outside of Knight Park.

Officials asked guests who are able to walk to Knight Park and the high school in order to lessen congestion in the area.

Parking will be accessible within the Scottish Rite lot and Lumber Yard lot.

Those with disabilities can use handicap spaces near the tennis courts, officials added. Anyone who wishes to utilize these designated areas should drive up to officers at the entrance and relay their request.

The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m.
