Samaritan Healthcare and Hospice Recognized by PRSA- Philadelphia Chapter for Re-branding Campaign

Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice was recently recognized by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – Philadelphia Chapter – for its exceptional work on its re-branding campaign and annual report at the 43rd annual PRSA Pepperpot and Achievement Awards.

More than 150 public relations professionals attended this year’s gala awards ceremony at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA. This year’s event, sponsored by NAPS, was hosted by KYW Newsradio’s Vince Hill and paid homage to the extraordinary work of public relations professionals across the Greater Philadelphia region.

Consultants from Thomas Boyd Communications and Widewaters360 rounded-out the team who helped Samaritan win a first-place Pepperpot award for its extensive re-branding campaign. In 2011, Samaritan Hospice responded to healthcare’s evolving landscape by expanding services and changing its name to Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice. The not-for-profit developed and executed its re-branding campaign for internal and external audiences, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to high quality hospice care as well as an expanded continuum of healthcare and grief services.
