Attempted Murder Charges Filed After Attack In Camden County: Official

AUDUBON, NJ — Altirik Higgins of Philadelphia was charged with attempted murder and weapons charges after stabbing an 80-year-old woman in the parking of the Audubon Acme on Sunday, police said.

Higgins, 40, was sent to the Camden County Correctional Facility, according to police.

The woman was loading groceries into her car in the grocery store's parking lot when the attack occurred, police said.

She was taken to Cooper University Hospital where she was listed in stable condition, police said.

The motive for the attack was not released.
