Police Investigate Bomb Threat At Collingswood Schools

There was a bomb threat at the high school/middle school complex on Tuesday.

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — The Collingswood Police Department and the Camden County Prosecutor's Office are investigating a bomb threat at the Collingswood high school/middle school complex on Tuesday, a prosecutor's office spokesperson said Tuesday evening.

The buildings were evacuated Tuesday morning as a precaution so that K-9s can check the building to ensure the safety of students and staff. Police and K-9s were unable to find any explosives, police said Tuesday afternoon.

“Given that information, the Collingswood School District made the call to re-enter the building and resume the school day,” police said in a Facebook post.
