Cabaret Comes to Collingswood
Collingswood Community Theatre's May cabaret has a twist.

In another of Collingswood Community Theatre's (CCT) series of musical cabaret performances, cast members are taking an unusual twist.
The May 20 cabaret has a unique theme—Songs I'll Never Sing, Roles I'll Never Play.
The premise features local actors performing their dream parts, singing duets, solos and group numbers.

Each piece will come from a show that CCT will likely never stage. Each role will be a part cast members would likely never play.
CCT Publicity Director Mike Smith said the troupe expects May's off-beat twist will strike a chord with the audience.

"This one has a different twist than usual," said Smith. "(Collingswood Community Theatre's) one-night-only cabarets usually sell out, and this one promises to be no exception."
May's single cabaret is set to begin at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 20. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m.
The performance will be held in the Collingswood Senior Community Center Ballroom, located at 30 Collings Ave., on the second floor.
Tickets are $20 per person, and the cost includes refreshments such as wine, beer and soda.
Interested cabaret-goers may purchase tickets at the door, or pre-order by contacting Mary Baldwin, at baldym2@aol.com.
The local theater invites everyone to gather their friends and family, purchase tickets early—as CCT's cabaret performances generally sell-out—and prepare for entertainment with a twist like no other.
