Camden County Government: Camden County Health Department Visits Lindenwold High School For Vaccine Pop-Up

The Camden County Health Department, in partnership with the Rutgers School of Nursing, and Cooper University Health Care operated a pop-up vaccination clinic for students, staff and residents at Lindenwold High School. The free vaccine clinic was open to walk-up patients in the community. The clinic provided the Pfizer vaccine for students and children who were 12 and older.            

Commissioner Al Dyer talked about the importance of getting the vaccine into students so schools can successfully open next fall.

“While we watch COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations continue to rise it is more important now than ever to get the vaccine to protect the health and welfare of our community,” Dyer said. “This tool is the most important weapon we have to fight against this virus and gives us the means to protect our friends and families against it.”

At this time, more than 300,000 residents are fully vaccinated in Camden County and more than 330,000 residents have gotten at least one dose.
