Collingswood Called 'Charming Small Town' By Website

A website called worldatlas.com bestowed the honor on Collingswood.

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ — Collingswood was recently named as one of 10 "charming small towns" in New Jersey by worldatlas.com.

Author Michael Vecchio pointed out that Collingswood was settled in 1682, making it one of the oldest municipalities in the state that still exist. Vecchio also noted how the Stokes Lee Mansion and Collings Knight Homestead offer glimpses of the borough's early days.

He then fast-forwarded to the present and pointed out that, these days, Collingswood is a smorgasbord of shops, parks and restaurants. The latter excursion will offer visitors a "wide selection of restaurants and specialty cuisines," Vecchio wrote.
