Parents, friends, teachers, staff and dignitaries gathered on a gorgeous summer evening to send off the Collingswood High School Class of 2013 on Thursday.
In a beautiful ceremony that paid special tribute to parents and those who served (or plan to serve) in the U.S. armed forces, the community sent its graduates into the next chapter of their lives with well wishes, benedictions and fanfare.
And the students themselves were thoughtful in their reciprocity. Danielle Bernardin gave a tearful tribute to her parents. Morgan Worthington recognized her mother for her support during her childhood. Classmates cheered on valedictorian Nhat Do after his remarks.
Do you have a farewell message for the class of 2013? Tell us in the comments.
